When his late brother Ken, former Kibra MP passed away this summer, Bernard Imran Okoth threw himself into the ring to win the heart of residents of Kibera with the intention to keep on the amazing projects his late brother put into places in the Constituency. Focus was on education, many new high-schools were built and last week Kibera population showed their gratitude by electing Ken's manager, his brother Imran. Today, few days after being elected, Imran announced he would renovate Toy School, a primary school located in the heart of Kibera. So we can be hopeful for the future of Kibera
Kennedy Okoth was part of the reason why we decided to launch Project Kenya in 2017. From mentor, he became our friend and we will always remember him with great respect.
